Hips opening to increase mobility and release emotions.
When the hips are tight, they increase the load and cause overuse of the spine.
When hips are open, there is more range of movement, increase circulation, and more muscles to support our back and spine.
In addition to the benefits of improved range of motion and circulation and decreased back pain, opening the hips can create an energetic shift or release as well as we store so many emotions in our hips; like the feeling of sadness, fear and anxiety.
